At Glam Plus, Nanoplastia is not presented as a guaranteed 100% straightening service. Many clients may achieve up to 70–80% straighter-looking hair, but the amount of curl relaxation and smoothness depends on the starting texture, density, porosity, condition and previous chemical services.

Who may be suitable for Nanoplastia

Nanoplastia may suit frizzy, dry, wavy or curly hair when the client wants significant smoothing and a straighter finish. It can also be considered for some coloured or lightened hair, but only after the hair has been assessed.

Bleached, fragile, highly porous or chemically compromised hair needs extra caution. A stylist may recommend a gentler treatment, a repair-first plan or no service if the condition makes strong smoothing unsuitable.

The Nanoplastia appointment process

The appointment begins with a consultation covering natural texture, desired straightness, colour and bleach history, previous smoothing or straightening services, and current hair condition. The formula is then applied in controlled sections, processed and professionally sealed with blow-drying and heat.

Appointment duration varies with hair length, density, texture and condition, so we do not publish one duration for every client. Contact the salon with a recent photo if you need a useful estimate before booking.

Nanoplastia aftercare and maintenance

Our advertised Nanoplastia service comes with same-day wash guidance. Follow the exact washing and finishing instructions provided at your appointment, because advice can depend on the selected formula and your hair.

Use gentle shampoo, nourishing conditioner and heat protection. Avoid unnecessary very high heat, tell future colourists that you have had Nanoplastia, and discuss colour timing with your stylist before combining chemical services.

Price and realistic longevity

The current Glam Plus Nanoplastia special is $229 for any hair length. A professional head wash is not included in hair-treatment specials and can be added for $25.

The result may last around five to six months with suitable aftercare, but longevity varies. Natural texture appears in new growth, while frequent washing, unsuitable products, swimming and heat habits can affect how the treated lengths maintain their finish.
